Help me support kids with cancer
Hi Everyone!!
My name is Isla and On May 3rd , 2026, I, along with friends & family will be completing a 30km walk/run to raise funds for Childhood Cancer in honour of Charlie Hoile. Charlie was an extraordinary and brave individual who lost his battle at age 16. Charlie has deeply inspired me & many others. Childhood Cancer is something that affects not only the children diagnosed but their families and communities as well. I've seen how tough it can be for families to cope with the medical, emotional, and financial challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis, and I want to be able to make a difference even if it is a small one.
This fundraiser is personal to me because Charlie's story reminds me of the importance of hope, resilience, and community support.
Every step represents the courage of kids like Charlie and their fight against cancer.
If I can raise $800, this means the CCA can provide:
1 x overnight support bag (which includes, toiletries, a bedside game, a journal and other vouchers they may need to buy necessities)
1 x Elliott teddy
1 x hour of tutoring for education support and
1 x family counselling session
Even a small donation can make a huge impact, so I am inviting anyone to join me on this walk to support this cause in honour of Charlie. You are welcome to pop in for just a couple km's, or complete the entire 30!
