Can you help me make a difference?

Hi there,

This April, I am taking on the Childhood Cancer Association's - Pledge 450. I'm committing to doing 45 minutes of more of recorded exercise every day of April.

Why am I taking on Pledge 450?  Each year, around 450 families rely on the Childhood Cancer Association for emotional and practical support following a childhood cancer diagnosis.  They offer over 30 services including counselling, accommodation for country families, support groups, equipment loans and educational support.  

Please help me reach my goal by making a donation through my page.  It only takes a minute and any money you can give (no matter how large or small) will go a long way to helping me reach my target.

Morning walks in the Hills

Tuesday 29th Apr
Tomorrow is the last of the #Pledge450 - and I will have made my goal of an average of 45 minutes of recorded exercise every day during April!

I'm so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the Adelaide Hills. The leaves are all changing colour, fog hangs around in the valleys until the sun burns it off, and the mornings are cool and crisp - perfect for an early morning walk!

Only 1 week to go

Tuesday 22nd Apr
Only 1 week to go, and I have finally added up the time that I have spent doing exercise to 22 April (today). I started off very slow as I was still feeling really lethargic and unmotivated from having picked up COVID a couple of weeks before. But I'm really happy that I have averaged almost 40 minutes a day over the last 22 days. I'll need to pick it all up a bit over the next week, but feeling really motivated to get through this challenge to support the more than 450 children with cancer and their families that we support every year. The pic is of me at the Mount Barker Parkrun on Easter Saturday.
