The Childhood Cancer Association supports 450 families every year, and we need YOUR SCHOOL to take on a fun, group challenge that is inspired by the number 450 and to help us continue our vital work.
Why Pledge 450
Every year, 450 families rely on the support of the Childhood Cancer Association during the most difficult time of their life. This year, your school can make a difference in their lives by joining Pledge 450.
We’re calling on students, teachers, and whole school communities to raise $450 by taking on a group challenge inspired by the number 450. Whether it’s physical, creative, or something completely unique, make it fun and meaningful for your school. The possibilities are endless.
It’s your challenge, so you’re only limited by your imagination and you can choose to tackle it in a day, a week, or throughout a term. Schools can participate any time throughout the year, in whatever way works best for you.
Immanuel Primary School - Leading the Way
Immanuel Primary School proudly became the first school to take on Pledge 450 in 2025, building on its long-standing relationship with the Childhood Cancer Association and its strong culture of service and community.

To combine creativity with compassion, every year level took part in a 450 Works of Art Challenge — a whole-school exhibition held alongside the Mother’s & Carer’s Day celebration. Each student created an artwork that was displayed in a live and virtual gallery, with families invited to “purchase” their child’s piece through a donation of $5 or more.

The initiative inspired impressive student engagement and community support, raising over $6,000 to help families supported by CCA. Parents described it as a heartfelt and purposeful alternative to traditional fundraisers.
