Can you help me make a difference?
Hi friends,
Tom was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia on May 31st, 2024 and is currently in the maintenance stage of treatment. As Tom continues to move into a new sense of normalcy, he has reached an exciting milestone — he has officially started school.
Tom still loves to bake and is especially motivated to learn to read so he can independently read the recipes in his own Recipe Journal.
To support Tom’s reading journey and to raise funds for the Childhood Cancer Association, we are taking on the Pledge 450 challenge by reading 450 pages from a range of books. We are asking our family, friends, and community to please donate and sponsor our pledge. Every page read represents hope, resilience, and support for children and families impacted by childhood cancer.
This April, Tom and I are proudly supporting the Childhood Cancer Association through Pledge 450. Each year, around 450 families rely on the Childhood Cancer Association for emotional and practical support following a childhood cancer diagnosis. They provide over 30 vital services, including counselling, accommodation for country families, support groups, equipment loans, and educational support.
Please donate to help us reach our Pledge 450 goal and support the incredible work of the Childhood Cancer Association. Every contribution, no matter the size, truly makes a difference 💛
Thank you so much — we really appreciate your support.
Lots of love,
Tom

Tom From one reader to another I wish you all the best for your challenge. Reading is wonderful. And I like your idea of reading a number of books at the one time because that is what I do as well. Grant P.
